WNT1 inducible signaling pathway protein 2, also known as WISP2 is a secreted protein that induces estrogen1 and is a member of the CCN family of growth factors.2 WISP-2 is an important regulator involved in the maintenance of a differentiated phenotype in breast tumor epithelial cells and may play a role in tumor cell invasion and metastasis.3

Storage and Stability

Biological Activity
The biological activity of Human WISP-2 is determined by its ability to inhibit IGF-II induced proliferation of MCF-7. The expected ED50 for this effect is between 10-20 ng/ml in the presence of 15 ng/ml of human IGF-II.
Each investigator should determine their own optimal working dilution for specific applications.
