Molecular Weight
The predicted molecular weight of Recombinant Mouse IL-21 R is Mr 51.5 kDa (monomer). However, the actual molecular weight as observed by migration on SDS Page is Mr 70-80 kDa.

Formulation
This recombinant protein was 0.2 µm filtered and lyophilized from modified Dulbecco’s phosphate buffered saline (1X PBS) pH 7.2 – 7.3 with no calcium, magnesium, or preservatives.
Purity
>95% by SDS-PAGE and analyzed by silver stain.
Storage and Stability
This lyophilized protein is stable for six to twelve months when stored desiccated at -20°C to -70°C. After aseptic reconstitution, this protein may be stored at 2°C to 8°C for one month or at -20°C to -70°C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles. Biological Activity
The biological activity of Mouse IL-21 R was determined by its ability to inhibit IL21 dependent proliferation of N1186 human T-cells. The expected ED50 is typically 0.75 - 3 μg/ml in the presence of 100 ng/ml of rmIL21.
Each investigator should determine their own optimal working dilution for specific applications.
