Specificity:
Rabbit Anti-Human WNT-1 Inducible Signaling Pathway Protein-2 (WISP-2) recognizes Human WISP-2. This antigen affinity purified polyclonal antibody was purified using a proprietary chromatographic technique that includes covalently immobilizing the antigen proteins or peptides to agarose based beads. This purification method enhances specificity, reduces nonspecific binding of extraneous IgG and provides you with the most reliable reagent available for your early discovery research.

Human CTGFL/WISP-2 is expressed in primary osteoblasts, fibroblasts, ovary, testes, and heart.
Background:
WNT1 inducible signaling pathway protein 2, also known as WISP2 is a secreted protein that induces estrogen1 and is a member of the CCN family of growth factors.2 WISP-2 is an important regulator involved in the maintenance of a differentiated phenotype in breast tumor epithelial cells and may play a role in tumor cell invasion and metastasis.3

Formulation
This antigen affinity purified polyclonal antibody is aseptically filtered and lyophilized from PBS with no carrier proteins or preservatives added.
Reconstitution
Aseptically reconstitute this antigen affinity purified polyclonal antibody using 100 µl of sterile deionized water.
Storage and Stability
The lyophilized antibody should be stored desiccated at -20°C. The reconstituted antibody can be stored for at least six weeks at 4°C. For long-term storage of the reconstituted antibody, aseptically aliquot into working volumes and store at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.

Indirect ELISA, WB
Indirect ELISA: This antibody can be used in an indirect detection ELISA at 0.5 µg/ml with a suitable second step reagent such as Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H&L) Horseradish Peroxidase (Leinco Prod. No.: R115). The detection sensitivity of this indirect ELISA for Human CTGFL/WISP-2 is approximately 0.2 ng/well.
Western Blotting: To detect Human CTGFL/WISP-2 this polyclonal antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.2 µg/ml. This polyclonal antibody should be used in conjunction with compatible second-step reagents such as Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H&L)-Horseradish Peroxidase (Leinco Prod. No.: R1190) and a chromogenic substrate such as TMB HRPO Membrane/IHC Substrate UltraSensitive™ One Component "Ready Use" (Leinco Prod. No.: T343). The detection limit for Human CTGFL/WISP-2 is 2.0 ng/lane under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. The sensitivity of detection may increase up to 50 fold when a chemiluminescent substrate is used.
