Description
Specificity:
Mouse Anti-Human CDw60 (Clone Jones) recognizes Human CDw60. This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype. Anti-Human CDw60 recognizes a (Mr 120 kD) carbohydrate (9-0-acetyl GD3) antigen.
Antigen Distribution:
The CDw60 antigen is present on gangliosides, platelets and a subset of CD4+, CD8+ peripheral T-cells, but not on B-cells, monocytes or granulocytes. CDw60 is involved in the co-stimulation of T-cells. The antigen is also detectable in some previously undescribed benign and malignant tumors. CDw60 shows different subcellular distribution patterns.

This purified antibody is formulated in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline (PBS) pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl, 1% BSA and 0.09% sodium azide as a preservative.
Storage and Stability
This antibody is stable when stored at 2-8°C. Do not freeze.
Reported Applications
IHC (Frozen), FC
Flow Cytometry: It is recommended to use the indirect method for signal enhancement when enumerating cells expressing CDw60. A suggested method would be to stain cells expressing CDw60 with Anti-Human CDw60 at ≤1 µg per 1.0 X 106 cells in a 100 µl total staining volume, followed by Goat F(ab')2 Anti-Mouse IgG (H&L)-R-phycoerythrin (Leinco Prod. No.: M100).
