Introduction:
IL3 is a potent growth promoting cytokine. This cytokine is capable of supporting the proliferation of a broad range of hematopoietic cell types. It is involved in a variety of cell activities such as cell growth, differentiation and apoptosis. This cytokine has been shown to also possess neurotrophic activity, and it may be associated with neurologic disorders.

Storage Procedures:
In lyophilized form, for long periods, store at 4oC in a dry environment. After reconstitution, if not intended for use within a month, aliquot and store at -20oC.

Reconstitution:
Reconstitute with sterile H20. Mix gently, wash the sides of the vial and wait 30-60 seconds before use.

Stability / Shelf Life:
Two years lyophilized, one month in solution at 4oC.

Direct ELISA, Western Blot, Immuneprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry

Titer:
By direct ELISA, 1:1,000 dilution will yield 0.2 O.D using alkaline phosphatase conjugated rabbit anti-mouse Ig (Jackson Laboratories).
