This product consists of affinity-purified mouse monoclonal antibodies against vitellogenin from brown bullhead (Ameiurus nebulosus).

Immunogen source:
Vitellogenin purified from brown bullhead (Ameiurus nebulosus), sheepshead minnow (Cyprinodon variegatus), bowfin (Amia calva) and spotted gar (Lepisosteus oculatus).

Specificity:
ND-1D12 binds with high affinity to vitellogenin from brown bullhead (Ameiurus nebulosus). The antibody does not cross-react with vitellogenin from sheepshead minnow (Cyprinodon variegatus), bowfin (Amia calva), spotted gar (Lepisosteus oculatus), killifish (Fundulus heteroclitus), tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus), halibut (Hippoglossus hippoglossus), rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss), carp (Cyprino carpio) or zebrafish (Danio rerio). The degree of cross-reactivity may differ between species and with the methods employed.

Application:
ND-1D12 works well in both ELISA and western blot. Since assay conditions vary, the optimum dilution should be determined for each particular application. Note: The antibody is dissolved in a buffer containing BSA, and is therefore not recommended to use for coating.

Normal dilution range:
ELISA: 1:100 - 1:1000
Western blot: 1:100 - 1:500
