Background
Factor VIIa (FVIIa) is a key serine protease involved in the initiation of the coagulation cascade. FVIIa requires tissue factor (TF), a membrane bound protein, as an essential cofactor for maximal activity towards its biological substrates Factor X, Factor IX and Factor VII (FVII).

Immunogen:Recombinant human Factor VIIa: NovoSeven ® (Novo Nordics A/S Denmark)

Type of antibody: Polyclonal; Antibody format: Affinity purified, eluted at pH 3.0, currently in PBS pH 7.4

Tested applications: Pro-thrombin assay with human plasma (PT); Thrombin generation assay; inhibition assay with Factor VIIa with TF and a chromogenic substrate; indirect ELISA.
